IxDA NYC is pleased to once again present...
UX Show and Tell at Moment
The UX Show and Tell is back in New York with the generous support of IxDA New York and Moment!
Food and drinks will be served when the doors open at 6:30 p.m. The workshop will begin promptly at 6:45p.m.
THE FORMAT
Bring your deliverables to either get useful, implementable feedback or to show unique solutions to potentially common design problems. Drafts/incomplete work is welcome!
We'll have a round-table discussion where one person can tell the larger group they need help with a design problem, or they can share a unique solution that's worked well for them in the past.
Questions and dialogue from the rest of the group are expected and encouraged--this isn't meant to be one person presenting to an audience!
If you don't want to bring anything to show, you're more than welcome to attend and contribute to the discussion.
We'll decide later where to take the discussions after the workshop is officially over at 8:30 p.m.
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
As always, all veteran, novice, or prospective user experience designers, information architects, web developers, content strategists, graphic designers, etc. are encouraged to share deliverables or just attend.
Paper deliverables are perfectly acceptable, and we'll also have wireless internet, a projector and a screen available for showing work. Feel free to bring deliverables from old jobs, prototypes, pet projects, or anything else you need help with or think could benefit others.
If you plan to share, please indicate what you're bringing (by posting a comment on uxshowandtell.com) so others can bring their own potentially relevant examples.
Don't forget to sign up at www.uxshowandtell.com and join the New York City group to continue discussions long after the event is over!
If you are interested in showing your work, please choose "IxDA NYC September Event Presenter" as your ticket type and contact us at nyc.ixda@gmail.com so we can notify you of any possible last-minute changes to the format.
